Hi gemini02,

We tried the solution that you PM and it does not work. Is there another thing that we can do? This seems to be a design problem with HP since there are plenty that are experiencing this problem.

Hi x3Son ,

If you haven't already please try the previous steps listed from Message 7.

I have provided a document with Resolving Control Panel Messages.

Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.

Update the printer's firmware. HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw Drivers.

I will send you another step to try in a private message.

Hi Gemini02,

We have already talked to one of your HP Technical Support and they do not have a solution.  What shall we do with this?  If you can escalate this to your engineering ,aybe they can do something about the firmware to bypass the cool down mode.

Hi Roy78 ,

Usually by updating the firmware on the printer, it will resolve this issue.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post serial numbers and case details.

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, this Post has instructions.

Thank You.
