Hi balthusar,
The issue you are having balthusar is different, you said the printer is on the network, and is printing wirelessly from your PC. If your PC sees the printer but the Mac doesn't, then the issue is likely related to the Bonjour protocol, or could be a firewall/ ports issue.
Yes, I did review that document I had posted for you and the instructions are certainly for a different printer, my apologies. I am sure you probably figured out how to print the report for your printer but just in case, here's how, from the printer control panel, press and hold the Resume button, and then press the Wireless button.
Do me a favor, for testing purpose, please open the System Preferences, click on Printers and Scanners, click the little plus symbol, select Add other printer or scanner, click on IP at the top and enter the information.
Please enter the printer IP address in the Address section, change Protocol to HP Jet Direct, choose the HP driver in the Use section, then click add at the bottom.
Once you have added this printer, please try to print. This bypasses the Bonjour protocol and uses the HP Jet Direct protocol. If this works then the issue is related to the router, if it does not we can continue looking at what else it could be.

I pressed the wireless and cancel button for 5 seconds. The wireless light went off. So i pressed it and the light went back on. I printed out the network config page and there is still no IP address or URL for Embedded Web Server.
What am I doing wrong?
Problem recap: trying to get the officejet 6100 eprinter connected to my wifi network.
Thank you!

Hi SteveJobs,
I do not believe you are doing anything wrong! I have a feeling that maybe the radio in the printer, although is on, is not working. Let's look at the wireless test report. When you held down the resume button and the wireless button, did 2 reports print? One being the network configuration page, and the other being the wireless test page? The wireless test page will tell us if the radio is functioning or not. Please also check the report for Wireless Networks Detected.
At the top opf the page, it typically summerizes any issues, please let me know what the report says at the top.
Here is an example of the report I am looking for.
I look forward to hearing from you and am eager to see this resolved.
