setup scan to network folder yosemite

Dao1138, what printer do you have? I'm assuming you have the 8600 Pro Plus. I have the 8600 Pro with the latest update, but still not working.

I have the 8600 pro and it works. What firmware does the printer think it is running? Alternately, be sure permission to the folder you are scanning to are OK. I have mine set for RWE privileges not only for myself but for the world. Also the folder path, must be visible by the remote user name used to scan to the folder.

Pretty sure you have the Pro Plus.  I've updated via the website, as well as the printer itself.  I have the latest firmware from 7/20.  HP fixed SMB on the Pro Plus, and not the Pro.  If you print the settings report directly from the printer, you'll see you have a different firmware and model number.

Here's mine.  I'm pretty sure the N911n is the Pro Plus.  The N911a is just the Pro, and the latest firmware doesn't include the SMB fix for Yosemite.

Having been following this thread for months I got very excited by the firmware upgrade ...

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g and this now has the CLP1CN1516AR firmware.

But I get the 'Incorrect credentials' error when I test ...

I have shared the destination folder with RW access both for me and everyone.

It was working pre Yosemite but now it is not - any suggestions about what I am missing?

@markitsmad I had a credentials issue when I upgraded and then tried the firmware - I recreated the folder entry on the printer config page with user/password and then it worked
