How do I get the HP Instant Ink free trial?
When you buy a new printer and set it up either at 123.hp.com or using the HP Smart app and you sign up for a paid plan you are offered a free trial of Instant Ink. However, if you sign up for the 15 page free plan you are not offered the free trial since you are already on a free plan.
The number of free months depends on the offer at the time and the country of enrollment. You must take advantage of this offer within 7 days. There is no special code and the free months are automatically applied to your account. After 7 days, the free trial offer expires.
During the free trial you can print up to 300 pages per month regardless of the plan you pick (50,100,300). If you pick the 500 or 700 page plan your free trial will be for 500 or 700 pages depending on the plan you chose.
To confirm that you received your free months, check the message on the Confirmation page just before you enroll, or sign into your account page at Instantink.com and find the free months under My Account > My Plan. Free trial months are not offered when you sign up at Instantink.com – only at 123.hp.com and the HP Smart app. Remember to take advantage of the free trial offer while you are setting up your printer!

Hi @Johng19,
Could you send me an image of the promotional offer(box or the leaflet that came with the printer)?
Please send us a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Let me know.

I signed up today (bought my printer from Curry's today). It says 5 months free trial. I signed up on the App and entered my details and picked the £3.49 package. No where on the account does it state or mention anything to do with free months?
I tried asking the automated help on the app but that just said sign in to find the free months which I had already done so that doesn't help. I am currently on hold to speak with an actual person and have been for 20 minutes :'(
Can anyone advise me on what to do?

Didn't realise you can't add screen shots. There is no blue envelope and when I click the link option it says insufficient privileges. I spoke to someone on the phone earlier too who said I would be sent and email straight away and I had to respond with images. I still haven't received that either.

Hello, I have just purchased a 6234 printer with free trial of 7 months instant ink.
However when I signed up it was not clear how I avail the 7 months instant ink, I did not see any options.
Today, 10th day since installation, I signed up for the monthly plan however I still don't see any options to avail my free ink services.
I would appreciate some help.

Hi I got my new printer set up today. Select my plan and I didn't see any type of promotion code anywhere so I assumed that the system would recognise the printer. However, when I finished I went into my account and all I can see is 1 month free trial the printer has a big sticker that says 7 months free how can I get my free months updated to 7 that was that hp offered.
Thanks
KC
