Hi @gekapellla,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer not printing complete images!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like the issue is related to margin settings or paper size mismatches. Here’s how you can fix it:
Check the Print Margins & Borderless Settings
- Open the Print Preview before printing.
- Look for an option like "Fit to Page" or "Borderless Printing" and enable it.
- Ensure scaling is set to 100% (or Fit to Paper if the image is getting cut off).
Verify Paper Size & Print Settings
- Make sure the paper size in the print settings matches the actual paper in the tray.
- Go to Printer Properties > Paper/Quality and select the correct paper size.
- If the document is formatted for A4 but you're using Letter, this can cause cropping.
Check Image Alignment in the Document
- If the image is inside a Word document or PDF, ensure it's centered and fully visible.
- If using PDF, try printing with Adobe Reader and select "Print as Image" under Advanced Settings.
Update Printer Drivers
- Go to HP Support and download the latest drivers for the Smart Tank 580-590 series.
- Install the updated drivers and restart the printer.
Try a Different Application
- If you're printing from a web browser, download the image and print it using Windows Photos, Adobe Reader, or another reliable app.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download HP Print and Scan Doctor from HP's website to automatically fix any printing issues.
Let me know if the problem persists! 😊
