Hi all, I bought a used Hp c309a printer bought as is. Always had this error please see quoted below.
I already downloaded or updated the software through online only because I don’t have the cd. I’ve had tried resetting the power, checking if there are paper being jammed but nothing and still that error message keep coming. So I did not have a chance to really use the printer. Also I should mention that the cartridge “carrier/holder” is stuck on the right side and I don’t want to force it to move to the center.
I hope someone can help me solve this.
Sincerely,
kitoy

@kitoy, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I see that you are not able to use this printer due to this error. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.
Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in these documents - Carriage jam or E3 error and Error Code '0x610000f6' Message Displays for HP Photosmart Plus All-in-One Printers
If the error persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
