Hi @Danderyd1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

A 20.2 fuser error typically indicates a problem with the fuser assembly in a laser printer. The fuser is responsible for melting the toner onto the paper to create a permanent print.

Here are some possible reasons why you may be getting this error message and some potential solutions.

  • The fuser is overheating: This can happen if the printer is being used excessively, or if the fuser is not getting enough ventilation. If this is the case, try turning off the printer and letting it cool down for a while before trying again.
  • The fuser is damaged or worn out: Over time, the fuser assembly may become damaged or worn out, leading to errors. In this case, you may need to replace the fuser assembly.
  • The printer firmware needs to be updated: Sometimes, updating the firmware of the printer can help to fix errors like this. Check the HP website for any available updates.
  • There is a paper jam: A paper jam in the fuser assembly can cause this error. Check for any jammed paper and remove it carefully.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
