Hoping someone can help, I have a 2720 printer which I appear to have messed up.

1) I installed some larger (correct type) capacity cartridges as the original ones ran out.

2) For some reason I thought it a good idea to do a factory reset

3) It will now not connect to the network

4) The left hand orange light is flashing as is the wifi blue light

5) I removed the printer from the printer list thinking it would be easier to do a re-install, how wrong was I!

 

Can anybody help please! I don't really mind if it doesn't print as I only really bought it for the scanner

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you want to connect the printer to WiFi and set up the printer, I am glad to assist you.

You can use the HP Smart app to connect the printer to the network and install it on the computer.

Here are the steps:- Click here

I have managed to get it -reconnected and installed, just a question of actually getting it to work.

Orange light flashing and e0 error, which indicates a problem with the cartridges, which there shouldn't be as they are fairly new and relatively little used. Problem is I did a factory reset and don't have the setup cartridges anymore. I have ordered some new HP cartridges but fear it may never print again. Not happy as yet.

 

It is a 2720e actually

Hi,

I have now fitted new cartridges and all seems well, I haven't disposed of the old cartridges yet as they should work so am keeping them just in case.
