Hi @Danvuyto12

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for flagging that—error code E0 on the HP DeskJet 2755e typically indicates that one or both ink cartridges are unusable or not recognized properly. This can happen even with new cartridges if there’s a contact issue, leftover protective tape, or a firmware mismatch.

Here’s how you can resolve it:

Step-by-Step: Fix E0 Error on HP DeskJet 2755e

Power Reset the Printer:

  • With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the back.
  • Unplug it from the wall outlet too.
  • Wait 2–3 minutes.
  • Press and hold the Power button on the printer for 30 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet (avoid surge protectors), then reconnect it to the printer and turn it on.

Reseat the Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the cartridge access door.
  • Remove both cartridges.
  • Gently wipe the copper contacts with a lint-free cloth (no alcohol).
  • Reinsert them firmly into their slots.

Update the Printer Firmware:

Use Genuine HP Cartridges:

  • If you’re using third-party or refilled cartridges, the printer may not recognize them correctly.
  • Try reinstalling known working original HP 67 or 67XL cartridges.

This error can be especially frustrating when you’ve just replaced cartridges or updated the printer. But your persistence in troubleshooting is spot on. If the issue continues after these steps, I can help you explore a cartridge alignment reset or further diagnostics. Just let me know how it goes.
