Hi, I’ve recently bought a HP Deskjet 2710 and unfortunately it’s been very temperamental. 9 times out of 10, when I switch it on at the power mains the only response I get from it is, Amber lights on my resume button, and my colour ink icon, and my info button has a white light. I have no power light or anything on the LCD screen. I’ve tried to reset it as shown on HP YouTube channel but nothing happens. If I press the power button on I get nothing, no light, nothing. I can’t seem to find anyone else with a similar issue online and HP automated online help or twitter account have not been able to help me. Any help here would be brilliant. Thanks.

Hi @LFC_6-19,
I'd like to help!
Let's try a power reset on the printer
Reset the product
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
If the issue persists, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
