I just wanted to know if my HP 2600 all in one printer works with 3x5 index cards. The issue is that i added the custom size but when i want to print the option doesn’t come up, and whenever i use 3.5x5 in it prints it uneven or even if i put the normal size that is 4x6 it also prints it uneven/tilted. I checked everything and everything is alright

Short Answer
- It might not work to use "Custom Paper" size with this printer and this Operating System (iOS).
- The printer requires that, along with the paper size and weight being recognized, that the paper type be supported recognized.
- Add the requirement for Paper weight for "card" paper: HP defines "card" paper as Index > 110lb / 200 g/m²
- In general, given the limitations on margins, paper size / type / weight, supported paper in size 4x6 might print.
Reminder
HP Smart Mobile requires that paper size / type is adjusted before the content is opened to be printed.
Using a supported paper size, type, and weight,
Load the paper into the printer using the instructions in the user manual, starting on Page 11

Long Answer / Details / Examples
The printer supports Index Card paper -- and yes, as a custom size, 3x5 inch paper is supported.
The problem, if there is one, is that the printer lacks a text-input-capable Printer Control Panel.
EWS probably lacks the essential "Custom Size" paper listing in Tray and Paper.
This makes it more difficult set up the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to access any custom size setting, that is, any paper size that is not listed in the paper size / type.
EWS is available from within HP Smart and using your web browser.
Example
EWS > HP Document / How-to
Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)
EWS – Browser – Tray and Paper Management
Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper (Management)
Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type
Model Dependent: Advanced section
Click Apply to save changes
Tray and Paper – Paper Size / Paper Type / Paper Weight
Reminder
HP Smart Mobile requires that paper size / type is adjusted before the content is opened to be printed.
Paper Size, Type, and Weight loaded in the printer tray must be supported for use in that tray.
EWS provides access and control to check / adjust Tray and Paper Settings.
Note
Depending on the printer model, the Printer Control Panel might provide access to Paper Size / Type settings after the paper is loaded into the appropriate printer intake tray.
What?
Paper Size, Type, and Weight must be appropriate for the tray in which that paper is to be used.
Depending on the printer model, Tray 1 might be used for Custom media.
In this scenario, Tray 2 might only support Plain paper.
Printers that include a Photo Tray generally place limitations on the size and type of paper that the Photo Tray supports. Example: Depending on the printer model, the Photo Tray might support only 4x6 inch photo paper.

On printers where the option is supported, in EWS for Tray and Paper, there is a "Custom Size" at the end of the list of supported paper sizes. Some printers do not include the special "Custom Size" in the list.
Important
HP Smart Mobile requires that the paper size / type be adjusted in Tray and Paper before the content is opened to be printed.
It's what is known as a "Catch-22" -- you can't do this without that and you cannot do that without this...
Said another way: You might not be able to get there from here.
The printer is also in that DeskJet class of printers that requires a larger 12.7 mm (1/2 inch) margin along the bottom edge of the paper.
The margin limitation alone does not always make printing on tiny paper impossible but it can complicate the setup and can certainly impact the results.
The paper size is important - next is the paper type and paper weight:
HP defines "card" paper as Index > 110lb / 200 g/m²
Assuming the paper size and type are supported, for example, using the 4x6 inch Index paper, you still need some kind of mechanism to allow the printer to recognize the paper.
The "mechanism" would generally be the settings available in EWS > Tray and Paper
In Windows there are generally more options to create and use Custom Paper sizes when using HP Smart or the Full Driver printer software.
In HP Smart Mobile, those options to manipulate the job settings are generally not available.
