Dear Kudos O,
Finally my 4652 Officejt is working properly.
It took two actions: 1sr, to drain the system umpluging the power cord and plugging again in the wall.
After that the printer work once, the stop working again.
2nd. Afyer all that, I did follow instructions to clean the copper contacts with a coffe filter and destilled water. I did clean both, the copper contacts in the cartridge and also in the printer contacts. After that, I left the printerr dry for over 30 minutes. Then I tested and it did print perfect.
The printer was always telling me there was a problem in the printer that needs my attemntion. If possible, the designers could include a signal identifyuing the copper contacts need cleaning.
Thanks again, Kudos O. You did a great job.
Sincerely,
Bernardo Gonzalez

Hello, @Bergon - Hope you are well 🙂
Thanks for your continued participation on the HP Forums! I’d like to help!
Going through your post, I understand that you facing issues with the new black cartridge for the printer. Try performing a power drain on the printer as suggested below:
- Remove the cartridges from the printer.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
If the issue persists, try the steps listed below: http://hp.care/2tRB6r6
Thanks, I will watch for your reply!
Good luck 🙂

4652 printer fails again. I did drain the system again, unplugging and plugging in the wall. It didn't work. I did open the cartridge compartment, pull out the black cartridge and installed again and the printer printed the document that fails before.
Something is failing in the cartridge. I will try with another cartridge.
I did try a second cartridge. The printer went into the process to align the cartridge, then scan the aligned page, then failed again.
I did drain the system again. It didn't work.
I went to the cartridge compartment, I did unistalled and install the cartridge again. It did work.
Seem to me that I have to uninstall and install the cartridge again everytime I need to make a copy. That is very inconvenient.
Still the printer at the time of printing is telling me that the printer has an issue that needs my attention.
Please help me.
Sincerely,
Bernardo
