Hi @Ibbeltje ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Photosmart 5520 e-All-in-One Printer is canceling print requests from your Samsung S24+ smartphone, try the following troubleshooting steps:

Check Printer Status:

  • Make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Samsung phone.
  • Ensure the printer is not showing any error messages or warning lights.

Restart Devices:

  • Power off the printer, wait for 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
  • Restart your Samsung phone and any other devices that might be sending print jobs.

Clear Print Queue:

  • On your phone, go to the printer settings and clear any stuck print jobs.
  • On the printer, try to cancel any pending print jobs from the printer’s control panel.

Reinstall the Printer App:

  • If you are using the HP Smart app to print, try uninstalling and reinstalling it on your Samsung phone.
  • Make sure the app is up to date.

Check Printer Firmware:

  • Make sure the printer has the latest firmware. You can check this through the printer's control panel or HP Smart app.

Reset the Printer's Network Settings:

  • If the printer is still not responding to print requests, consider resetting its network settings and reconnecting it to your Wi-Fi.

Test with a Different Device:

  • Try printing from another device (like a computer or tablet) to check if the issue is specific to the phone.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
