HP Recommended

I have tried all of the steps listed at message https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Errors-or-Lights-Stuck-Print-Jobs/HP-OfficeJet-Pro-6978-All-i... - but no luck

 

The carriage is stuck on the far right side and cannot move when the printer restarts.

 

Any suggestions - other than replacing the printer?
