Hello, in answer to your questions, 1/The Error Message is Cartridge Problem:- one or more cartridges appear to be missing or damaged.
2/ all cartridges were genuine HP but the problem one was the black photo one that run out and has now been replaced with a genuine on
3/ have tried other methods but to no avail
4/ It is difficult to get past the error message, but when I have succeeded, all other cartidges are OK at about a quarter full.
Thank you for your interest

Hello Echo, fitted new HP cartridge, still not recognised, Removed all cartridges, and cleaned the contacts in the print head and on the cartridges, and now everything works OK, so I am very happy.
Thank you for your help. Regards Dave Sebborn
