I usually print on pre-punched 3-Hole paper. When I print single-sided I need to load the paper in tray 1 with the holes on the right side of the tray. When I print two-sided I need to load the paper with the holes on the left side. Is there a method I can use where I can print single- and two-sided without having to remove and flip the paper in the tray? I use tray 2 for 11x17 paper as well.

Welcome to HP Support Forums.

I came across your post and would like to assist you.

I understand that you need assistance with duplex printing on your HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer.

During mu research, I came across this HP document that helps in performing duplex printing in Windows. Please refer to "Print on both sides of the paper" from this HP document.

I genuinely hope this information helps. Please feel free to let me know how it goes.

Cheers! 🙂
