Product: HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer

My 7855 printer is stuck on the white screen with only the first circle in blue. The rest of the circles are white. I unplugged power cord for 10 minutes, held down power button to reset, and followed other users' suggestions, but nothing seems to fix it.  I paid for HP out-of-warranty support just now, only to find out that it closed for the day 5 minutes ago. Should I just get a new non-HP printer?
