HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw

Printer not capable of printing normal documents anymore. Even printing a couple of pages causes a 79 error and a printer reboot. (Sometimes the first few pages go through, in perfect quality, but the reboot is inevitable.)

Updated firmware, hard reset the printer, cycled the power, restored default settings, tried printing from a different computer. Native toner cartridges, native paper.

Hi @Zhelp

Thanks for getting back.

I would suggest you please try these steps

We have to perform a Reset to unlock the features of the printer/Reset the password.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile.
