I need to talk to a live agent for help regarding this 79 Service turn on and off error. The printer won't stay on long enough to install firmware for this printer. I have been dealing with this error for 5 days now.
I finally was able to get my printer connected again. I had to reinstall my printer through the HP Smart app. Another user said to turn off the PC v6 on my printer, (*or something like that) so I did that. This service error code has been a nightmare way over and beyond. I also had some help with Microsoft files. Apparently, lots of stuff in my computer had stopped and I believe my entire system is healthy and safe now. I have to say to talk to a live HP agent instead of all of this emailing and waiting around for a reply is poor HP customer service and support, to say the least. Some of us are in crisis because our printers are needed on a daily basis while working at home during this pandemic. Nevertheless, all is good now.
