Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting print quality issues, correct me if am wrong.

Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?

Meanwhile, print and evaluate a Print Quality Diagnostics Page

  1. Load plain white paper into the tray.

  2. On the control panel, touch the Right Arrow () to display the second navigation screen.

  3. Touch Setup ().

  4. Touch the Down Arrow (), and then touch Reports.

  5. Touch Print Quality Report. The Print Quality Diagnostics Page prints.

If that does not print fine, follow these steps to fix the issue.

Clean the printheads.

  1. Load plain white paper into the tray.

  2. On the control panel, touch the Right Arrow () to display the second navigation screen.

  3. Touch Setup (), and then touch Tools.

  4. Touch Clean Printheads. The printer cleans the printheads.

  5. Wait while the printer completes the printhead cleaning process, and then touch OK.
