I need to do a FULL RESET on my HP 8600 ALL IN ONE printer. Why? To set up scan to network folder. The printer somehow retains a very old password that prevents me from setting up the scan to network folder credentials .

Hi @Neill_NHB
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
