6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

Hi @Blue-One ,
Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
As I understand you wanted to know how to add paper sizes on the printer.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Did you try any troubleshooting steps before reaching HP forums?
How long are you facing this issue?
Meanwhile follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Create the new custom paper size
To set up the new custom paper size, create the new size in the printer software.
-
Search Windows for devices, and then click Devices and Printers in the list of results.
-
Click the icon for your printer, and then click Print server properties.
note:
If Print server properties does not display, right-click an empty area in the Printers window, select Run as administrator from the drop-down menu, and then select Server Properties.
-
If the User Account Control window displays, click Continue.
-
On the Forms tab, select the Create a new form check box, and then type a name for the new paper size in Form name.
note:
You must choose a different, unique name for the new custom paper size. Do not use an existing paper size name.
- Select Metric or English, and then type the dimensions of your custom paper in the Width and Height text boxes.
note:
Leave the Printer area margins set at 0.00.
- Click Save Form, and then click OK or Close.
note:
Supported paper sizes vary by printer. If you input custom dimensions that your printer does not support, the new custom paper size does not display when you attempt to print. Check the printer specifications for your printer for more information on supported paper sizes.
Step 2: Select the new custom paper size
To begin printing on the custom paper size, select the new size for the print job.
-
Load the custom-size paper into the paper input tray.
-
Open the item you want to print.
-
Click File, and then click Print.
-
In the Print window, click Preferences, Properties, or Printer Properties.
-
Click the Paper/Quality tab.
-
If Paper Size displays, select the new custom paper size in the Paper Size drop-down menu.
-
If Paper Size does not display, click Advanced, and then select the new custom paper size in the Paper Size drop-down menu.
-
-
Click OK to close the Properties dialog box, and then click OK or Print to print the document.
Let me know how that pans out.
I hope you have a good day ahead,
And Feel free to ask any other queries as well,
Considering, this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help. 😉

The solution does not work. The HP 8725 does not support the 4x8 photo card in the photo papers specs. Yet it will support printing #10 envelopes which are 4x9.5 which does not make sense, especially when HP sells 4x8 photo cards!
Why can't HP simply create a fix for it in a update?

The solution did work but in a round about way. I did run into some problems after deleting the printer software. The printer drivers could not be deleted due to it being used by another program. After searching for some solutions, I found that the printer spooler was running and prevented the printer drivers from being deleted. I had to shut down the printer spooler which allowed me to proceed. After that I used the advanced printer setting to use the borderless 4x8 photo paper settings.
Thanks for helping but it would still be helpful if HP would simply have included the 4x8 photocard in the paper size list in the first place.
