I am printing flower pictures. When I printed recently i could scale the photo down or up and adjust the quality of the picture. It has been a little while since I printed and I cant get to that area of the print feature to make these adjustments.

Hi @Flower7733,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Adjusting the size and print quality of your photos on an HP OfficeJet 8025e All-in-One printer can significantly enhance the appearance of your printed pictures. Here's a step-by-step guide on how you can make these adjustments, typically through your computer:
For Windows Users
Open the Photo or Document You Want to Print
- Use an application like Microsoft Photos, Adobe Photoshop, or another image viewer/editor that supports printing.
Print Command
- Press Ctrl + P or navigate to File > Print in your application to open the print dialog.
Select Printer
- Ensure that your HP OfficeJet 8025e is selected as the printer.
Printer Properties/Preferences
- Click on Preferences or Properties to open more detailed settings for your printer.
Adjust Print Quality
- Look for a tab or section labeled Quality, Paper/Quality, or similar. Here, you can select higher DPI settings for better quality prints, such as "Best" or "High".
Adjust the Size and Scaling
- In the same dialog, look for a section named Effects, Advanced, or Finishing.
- Here you can find scaling options where you can choose to print at actual size, fit to page, or a custom scale percentage.
Apply Settings and Print
- Once you've made your adjustments, click OK to save your settings, then Print to start printing.
For macOS Users
Open the Photo or Document
- Use Preview or another image viewer/editor.
Print Command
- Press Command + P or navigate to File > Print.
Select Printer
- Ensure the HP OfficeJet 8025e is the chosen printer.
Show Details
- Click on Show Details to expand the print options if they're not already visible.
Adjust Print Quality and Scale
- Under the dropdown menus, look for options related to scaling and quality. Mac interfaces vary slightly by OS version but generally have clear labels for print quality adjustments.
- You can set scaling directly under the preview image or in the dropdown menu options.
- Adjust your settings and click Print.
Additional Tips
- Update Printer Drivers: Ensure your printer drivers are up-to-date, as this can sometimes restore missing options or enhance functionality.
- Check Ink Levels: High-quality prints require sufficient ink levels, especially if you’re printing in color.
- Use Appropriate Paper: For photos, using glossy or matte photo paper can dramatically improve the quality.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
