Hi @Beyod,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you've already tried some troubleshooting steps like resetting the printer and router, which is a good start. Here are some additional steps you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 printer has the latest firmware installed. Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause compatibility issues with AirPrint.
  • Check Network Connection: Make sure that your iPhone and iPad are connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer. If there are any network connectivity issues, it could cause the printer to become unresponsive.
  • Restart Devices: Try restarting your iPhone, iPad, and printer. Sometimes, simply rebooting the devices can resolve temporary glitches.
  • Reset Network Settings: On your iPhone or iPad, you can try resetting the network settings to default. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Keep in mind that this will remove all saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords, so you'll need to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network afterward.
  • Forget Printer on iOS Devices: On your iPhone and iPad, go to Settings > Wi-Fi, then tap on the (i) icon next to your Wi-Fi network. Tap "Forget This Network" and confirm. Then, reconnect to the Wi-Fi network and try printing again.
  • Printer Troubleshooting: Check if there are any error messages or issues displayed on the printer itself. This could give you more insight into what might be causing the problem.
  • Reinstall Printer Driver: If you're printing from a computer, make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed. Sometimes, reinstalling the printer drivers can resolve communication issues between the devices.
  • Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can try performing a factory reset on your printer. Keep in mind that this will erase all settings on the printer, so you'll need to set it up again from scratch.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there could be a hardware problem with either your printer or your iOS devices.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
