Hi @Hiral_Borad,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're having trouble aligning prints on A6 matte photo paper, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

1. Check Paper Settings:

  • Ensure that A6 size is correctly selected in both the printer settings and the HP Smart software.
    • Verify that you have selected the correct paper type (e.g., Matte Photo Paper) in the print settings. This can affect how the printer aligns the print.

2. Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure that the A6 photo paper is properly loaded in the paper tray. Make sure it is aligned correctly and not skewed or overlapping:
    • Go to the printer properties in the print dialog and check if there are any alignment or quality settings that need adjustment.

3. Run Printer Alignment

  • Use the HP Smart app to run a print head alignment. This option is usually found under “Printer Maintenance” or similar.
    • Some printers have alignment options accessible directly from the control panel. Check your printer’s manual for instructions on running an alignment from the printer itself.

4. Clean Printheads:

  • Run a printhead cleaning cycle through the HP Smart app or directly from the printer’s control panel. This can help if the issue is due to misaligned or clogged printheads.
    • Ensure that your ink cartridges have sufficient ink and are properly installed.

5. Check Paper Handlin:

  • Make sure there are no obstructions in the paper path and that the rollers are clean:
    • Adjust the paper guides in the paper tray to ensure the paper is held firmly in place.

6. Update Firmware and Software:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve alignment issues.:
    • Ensure that you have the latest version of the HP Smart software installed.

7. Perform a Test Print

  • Print Test Page:
    • Print a test page or alignment page to see if the alignment issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the paper type or the printer itself.

8. Consult Printer Manual:

  • Refer to your printer’s manual for specific instructions on paper handling and alignment settings for photo paper.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
