cannot get the printer to work for the life of me.
After the ink cartridges finished, I replaced the new ones as usual, always HP brand. The printer printed the test page in all blue ink > placed it on the scanner for alignment and nothing happened.
Troubleshot:
- tried to install firmware > message 'cannot update the device'
- while the printer was on, unplugged from the power, waited 60 seconds, plugged back in (in a wall outlet)
- via HP smart app tried to perform the alignment via maintenance tool, stuck in the loop: print the page > put on the scanner > Alignment failed. Try again
