Deskjet 3050

I own a HP deskjet 3050 and recently bought new ink (HP 61).  When printing the alignment page, the page shows 4 lines of light blue markings and a red triangle with an exclamation point in it.  The printer will not accept the alignment page.  Is this just faulty ink?  I turned on/off several times, reloaded the ink and printed the alignment sheet several times to no avail.  Also the words IMPORTANT are printing next to the red triangle.

Hello, @SHELLBYWELCH – Hope you are well 🙂

Allow me to welcome to HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

I understand that the printer is having alignment issues with the Deskjet 3050 printer. Do not worry, I found a wonderful document to help you fix this issue!

Go to http://hp.care/2qNMDJA and perform the steps listed under Solution 2 Solution 3 to fix this issue. Once done, try and make a copy using the regular paper and check for issue resolution.

Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!

Good luck 🙂

I have already tried this several times, including cleaning the cartridges and the printer. My alignment page still will not print correctly. What other options do I have?
