All Flashing lights Ee error HP deskjet 2755e

Bought this printer from somebody else. Said it works fine . Now what I'm setting it up all the lights are flashing and E E error code.

I'd be happy to help you! 

I understand you are facing a blinking light issue with your HP Deskjet 2755 Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

To assist better:

• Are you using genuine HP ink cartridges?
• Was there any recent update on the printer before the issue?

While you respond to that, Let's perform a power drain: 

• With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
• Remove USB cable, if present.
• Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
• Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
• Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle

Update the printer firmware 

• Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
• Click here to know different methods of updating the printer firmware.

I bought this printer from a lady on Amazon she said it worked good she just needed to get rid of it because she was moving. I bought  kolor ink HP 67. I can't use it to stop blinking lights, I need to really try and get it on my Wi-Fi.  Should I try a USB cord to my router/modem?

Let's try changing from USB to wifi and see if that helps as a last resort. If not this might need one-on-one interaction over the phone. 

Remove the USB printer from the computer

• Disconnect the USB printer from the computer, and then remove it from HP Smart if necessary.
• Turn off the printer, and then turn off the computer.
• Disconnect the USB cable from the printer and the computer.
• Turn on printer and the computer.
• Close any device setup prompts that display on the computer.
• If you previously used HP Smart to set up the USB printer, remove the printer from the app.
• On the app home screen, right-click the printer name and then select Forget This Printer.

Install the HP Smart app

• Download the HP Smart app from your app store.
• Microsoft Store (Windows): HP Smart (in English)
• Mac App Store (macOS): HP Smart for Desktop (in English)
• Google Play Store (Android): HP Smart (in English)
• App Store (iOS): HP Smart (in English)
