@GFSDVP, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding All Lights Blinking Issue on HP Smart Tank Printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The issue you're experiencing with your HP Smart Tank 529 series printer, where all lights start blinking and printing stops, indicates that the printer is in an error state that needs to be resolved. Follow these steps to address the problem:

Reset the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer: Press the power button. If the printer does not turn off, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord: Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  3. Wait: Wait 60 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power cord: Connect the power cord directly to a wall outlet and to the printer.
  5. Turn on the printer: Turn on the printer to complete the reset.

Check for Any Obstructions

  1. Open the front door: Ensure the printhead cover is properly closed and the print carriage is not obstructed.
  2. Remove any jammed paper or other objects blocking the carriage: Clear any obstructions inside the printer.
  3. Close the front door: Ensure it's securely closed.
  4. Restart the printing job: Press the Resume button to continue printing or the Cancel button if needed.

Check the Ink Levels

  1. Open the front door: Check the ink tanks and ensure they are filled above the minimum line.
  2. Refill ink tanks: If any of the ink tanks are low or out of ink, refill them as needed.
  3. Close the tank caps and the front door: Ensure all components are securely closed.

Update Firmware (if needed)

  1. Turn off the printer: Turn off the printer and then turn it on again.
  2. Update the firmware: If the issue persists, download the latest printer firmware from the HP support website. You might need a USB cable to temporarily connect the printer to your computer.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
