Hi @-BMS-,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If all lights on your HP ENVY 6020e are flashing and you're seeing Error Code E6, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Troubleshooting Steps:

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions inside the printer, especially around the ink cartridges and rollers.

Remove and Reinstall Cartridges:

  • Make sure the cartridges are properly seated. Remove them and then reinstall them securely.

Check Ink Cartridge Compatibility:

  • Ensure you are using the correct, genuine HP cartridges compatible with your printer model.

Reset the Printer:

  • While the printer is on, unplug it from the power source and press the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge any residual power. Then plug it back in and turn it on.

Update Firmware:

  • If the printer powers on, check for firmware updates through the HP Smart app or the HP website.

Factory Reset (if accessible):

  • If possible, perform a factory reset via the printer's settings. This may vary by model, so consult the user manual for specifics.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
