Hello,

All the lights are flashing on my HP deskjet 4100 series. My firmware is up-to-date. It will not allow me to reset or anything. Please help!

I have read through a lot of posts and it is disappointing to hear that issues were not fixed. I am so confused why these printers give so many issues and HP tech support cannot resolve them.  I am not sure if I will ever buy an HP product again. The perks that we pay for are great (which I truly like), but the headaches these printers come with and the fact that the support team cannot resolve it is not worth it. Basically, we are stuck with a busted printer and that's it.

I had the same issue. All week long I would turn the printer off and back on and wake up the next day to all the lights flashing. I finally shut it off for several days because I didn't have time to sit down and figure it out. My daughter needed to print something for school so she turned it back on and sure enough it was flashing the next morning. I went on youtube and found a video showing how to do a "hard reset" - hold down the power button and cancel button at the same time for 15 seconds then let go, and did that. It wasn't flashing this morning, we'll see if it sticks.
