I keep getting pop up ads on my computer for ink cartridges for my HP 8610 printer.  I would like to know how to block them.

@JerryS21, Welcome to HP Support Community!

To provide you with an accurate solution, I would like to know the following:

  • What is the Operating System installed on your computer?
  • How is the printer connected to your computer?
  • Is the printer enrolled on HP Instant Ink Program?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thanks-those are very annoying.

I am using Windows 10.  I have the printer hooked up via a cable (not wireless).  I am not enrolled in the Instant Ink program.

This issue regarding the pop-up ads has a solution posted, but it appears aimed at Mac computers.  By the way, my printer is an HP Envy 5545.

I just wish to stop these pop ups from HP.  It is as if HP sent me a virus or something.

Thanks!

I keep getting pop-up ads on my computer for the HP Instant Ink program.  They just never stop.  How do I make these go away?  The solution posted here is for a Mac computer, but I am on Windows.

Thanks!
