Product: HP archival inkjet colour inks
Hi. Please can you tell me which HP colour inkjet cartridges contain pigment inks? I wish to buy a printer that uses pigment inks, preferably supplied using the Instant Ink service.

Hi,

Most current IIC printers (4 different ink cartridges) uses Pigment Ink for all 4 ink cartridges (Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow)

 

The Officejet Pro 6960 / 6970 would be applicable, the HP Officejet 6950 / 6960 as well.

 

Also the HP Officejet Pro 8710 / 8720 would be similar too.

 

All printers above are supported by HP Instant Ink.

 

Printers with 2 different cartridges uses a Black Pigment ink while the Tri-Color ink cartridge is Dye Based.
