Hi all. I have an HP Deskjet F4480, several years old but working fine, and originally purchased in the US. I am currently living in the UK. I'd like to know if the HP60 and HP300 cartridges are interchangeable -- can I use HP300 cartridges in my American printer? Thanks for any info! All the best, - Dave

Hi,
Welcome to HP Support Forum. Yes and No.
Your printer uses HP 60 Black and Tri-color in Americas and Asia-Pacific (excluding India, China and Japan) but HP 300 in Western Europe. Physically HP 60 and HP 300 cartridges are the same BUT the chips are not.
Please read the following instructions then call HP in the UK and ask them how to reset your printer.

They may say your printer is out of warranty but please tell them you use Ink warranty, not printer. Phone number is on the following list:
