OfficeJet 4630
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I’m trying to print name tags using the Avery 74652 template with Microsoft Word 07 on my HP Officejet 4630.

I keep getting the message “Paper Mismatch – press OK to cancel.”

I’m running Windows 7.

I have already Created a New Form under Print Server Properties to the correct dimensions (4.21in x 10.51 in).

I restarted both the computer and the printer.

I’m still getting the same “Paper Mismatch – press OK to cancel” message.

How should I proceed?

You might have cut the demensions on the custom form a little too tight.  ??

I downloaded the template , opened Word and opened the template file in Word (2019).

Layout > Size > More Paper Sizes

Page Setup menu displays and indicates the template is 4.25 inches wide and 10.5 inches in height.

Try editing the custom form to correct the size.

What if you fix the custom paper size form and you still see the mismatch error?

More thoughts on the subject of "Paper Size Mismatch"

Could be a configuration error somewhere in the print setup and / or within the Printer Properties.  For example, Printer Properties is used not just for the paper size, the opportunity to change the Media (kind of paper) is important, too, as is setting the Source (tray) as opposed to leaving Source as "Automatic" (wording varies, even assuming "auto" is an option in your printer).

and / or

This printer lacks the printer control panel options to set / modify the paper size when you change paper in the tray.

The only other way I know to set the paper size in the tray is to use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to change the default paper size.  This is admittedly a bit tedious, especially since you have to go back in later and set the preferences back to your regular paper size.  Nonetheless, if all else fails, you might give this option a try.
