Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

Have purchased two HP cartidges and in each case black is not printing on test page.  Have tried all options including trying to clean the vent, this impoves it but only prints on part of test page black section.  Any suggestions?

Thanks for reverting, I had followed those steps before posting on here.  It's out of warranty and having now purchased 3 new color cartridges and 2 black ones I am loathed to throw it away and buy a new one.  The issue appears to be the cartridge, before I attenpted to clean the vent the black was a missing colour, after it appeared in strips across the bar.
