Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

I noticed recently that my deskjet does not print black ink. So i installed the software to clean the cartridges. i completed that task at least 5 times and black ink will not work. the color ink works fine. I am unsure at this point why it is still not working. It is genuine hp ink. Any solutions?
