I'm trying to print some pdfs  my iPad Pro but the imagines are printing with a solid black box around them.  It's hapending on different files I'm printing and I've tried printing from each one from  multiple programs but the boxes are still there.  Everything is updated.   Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?  Thank you!

The black around the pumpkins shouldn't be there.

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
I understand you need support and I'll be glad to help you out. However, for an accurate solution, I would need more details:

Are you printing using HP Smart App or AirPrint?

Does the original picture have any color around the image?

Let me know!

Thanks! Updating the printer firmware and iPad may resolve the issue. Let's try these steps:

1.) Use the steps available here to update the printer firmware.

2.) Use the steps available here to update iPad.

3.) Turn off your iPad, Printer and Router.

4.) Unplug the power from the back of router, wait for 10 -15 seconds.

5.) Connect the power cable back to router, turn on the router first. Wait till the router to initialize.

6.) Turn on Printer and iPad, try to print.

Let me know how it goes!

I did all of the above and it didn’t resolve the issue. I also tried printing the same document from different apps—the HP print app, Adobe, iOS files, among others. I’ve tried from my iPhone and my iPad. I’ve tried different files from different sources. The only thing that worked was printing from a borrowed laptop. I’m subscribed to HP ink, so I’m frustrated at wasting pages I print.

I emailed the website I bought the files from and finally heard back from them.   They ended up sending me adjusted files that print perfectly!   Maybe try that.  Hope this helps!

Whatta you know! I came here with the same question and ironically, my file is from the same TPT seller.  I am going to email them and hopefully they know how to fix this!   It does happen with other sellers too so hopefully it’s a simple

fix. Thanks!!!!
