Hello,

My printer has started releasing excess black toner on the papers. Each additional page or cleaning page I print, the darker it gets.

Any ideas? I've wiped the glass cleaned, wiped out the inside. Never had a problem before this. IMG_7010.jpeg

Likely a failed cartridge as a bad contact would produce a soild black page. Unless the cartridge is almost empty.

If you pull the cartridge sled out till it stops and remove the two toners closest to the body of the printer you can look at the left side of the cavity the tray slides into to make sure that you can see four matching contacts like the one circled in the picture below. The one closes to you is the black contact.
