Black text and outlines are printing a drop shadow/blur effect

I recently bought a new HP Smart Tank 7001 few weeks ago. Whenever I print a document with black text or black outline/lines it creates a drop shadow or blurry text.  I've done so many alignments and clean cartilages. Nothing works. BUT when I print off a quality report the black text and lines are crystal clear-no drop shadow. I'm not using drop shadow in my text/lines. Also changed the font still gives me the drop shadow/blurry text. Please help!

I understand you are facing a print quality issue with your HP  printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

• Are you using genuine HP ink cartridges?
• Does the copy print out the same way? 
• What's the application you are trying to print from? 
• Have you tried printing from a different application or device?

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
