Hello,
Approximately 5 yr old Officejet 4655 is not working. When plugged in it has a blank blue screen. My phone cannot find the printer, so I’d assume that the screen isn’t damaged. I’m guessing the whole unit is not working. Any solutions to this? Or am i in need of a new printer? Thanks,

@Kiddsea2, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand the printer screen is blue and not responding. I'm afraid we cannot perform any troubleshooting steps if the screen is not working correctly.
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
We cannot update the printer firmware as you say that the printer is not detected by your phone.
If the issue persists, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
