Hi there!
My printer does not light up the display and does not connect to the PC by USB or network cable.
There are no lights on the network port.
The printer reacts to the power button, lights up the power button and makes a mechanical noise, but there is no communication in any way.
I tried to factory reset it by holding my finger on the display on the button right and left corner, but there was no reaction.
I cannot add the product to my profile with S/N and P/N as it is not found.
You sent me this printer just in January 2023 as a replacement for another printer with exactly the same problem.
Please contact me and let me know what we can do about it.
Thanks!

Opening/closing the front door four times should produce an engine test page. Page will just have lines on it. If engine test page prints, printer control panel or formatter board may be defective. You could try disconnecting printer's control panel and see if you can USB/network connect printer to your computer with control panel disconnected. If you received a warranty replacement printer, please call HP tech support.

I preform the test of Opening/closing the front door four times, print test work but printer is still not connecting with anything.
To disconnect the printer display I have to put apart the whole printer. Any other ideas?

Printer either has a defective formatter board, 7KW75-60001, or control panel, T6B80-60101. Printer disassembly is required to address both issues. Two options: Find a local servce provider or self repair. The control panel cables plug into the formatter board. It is usually just a flat cable. Facing the front of printer, the formatter board is located in the rear, left side of printer. Left side panel is not hard to remove. Similiar to the M477:
My experience, I have replaced more control panels. Very few formatters. Unfortunately, there is also a chance that both parts will be needed. To find a HP Servi ce Center:
