Hi @Donprobert

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 2700e is showing an "eE" error on the screen with all lights blinking (except the Wi-Fi light), here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can reset any temporary issues.

2. Check for Paper Jams

  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path. Clear any jammed paper if found.

3. Inspect the Ink Cartridges

  • Open the printer and check if the ink cartridges are installed correctly. Remove them and reseat them to ensure proper connection.

4. Perform a Hard Reset

  • With the printer off, disconnect the power cord and USB cable (if connected). Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds, then reconnect everything and turn the printer back on.

5. Update Firmware

  • If the printer can power on properly after the reset, check for firmware updates through the HP Smart app or the HP support website.

6. Reset to Factory Defaults

  • If you're able to access the printer menu, look for a factory reset option. This can sometimes resolve persistent error codes.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
