I have this HP printer that won't print. It gave me an error message saying that my printer was blocked. I act into my control panel and went to windows defender to check the rules that epiglottis allow/ block my printer from working. I checked all the rules that needed to be enabled and still got this message for domain private and public profile, "Inbound connections that do not match a rule are blocked". What do I do now?

Hi @Zondo,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP DeskJet 2732 All-in-One Printer is displaying a "blocked printer" message and you've checked the Windows Defender firewall settings,
here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:
1. Allow Printer Through Windows Firewall:
- Open Windows Security by searching for it in the Start menu.
- Go to Firewall & network protection.
- Click on Allow an app through firewall.
- Click the Change settings button.
- Look for your printer software (it may be listed as HP or the printer model) and make sure both Private and Public boxes are checked. If it’s not listed, you can add it:
- Click Allow another app.
- Browse to find the HP printer software (usually found in C:\Program Files\HP or C:\Program Files (x86)\HP).
- Select it and add it to the list.
2. Disable the Firewall Temporarily:
- To check if the firewall is causing the issue, you can temporarily disable it:
- Go to Windows Security > Firewall & network protection.
- Click on your active network (e.g., Private network) and toggle off Windows Defender Firewall.
- Try printing again. If it works, then the firewall settings may need further adjustment.
3. Check Printer Status:
- Ensure that the printer is powered on and connected to the same network as your computer.
- Check for any error messages on the printer display.
4. Update Printer Driver:
- Ensure that you have the latest drivers for your printer:
- Visit the HP Support website and search for your printer model.
- Download and install the latest driver for Windows 11.
5. Set Printer as Default:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Find your printer, click on it, and select Manage.
- Click on Set as default.
6. Run the Printer Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
- Select Printer and follow the prompts to diagnose and fix any issues.
7. Restart Devices:
- Restart your printer and your computer after making changes. This can help clear any temporary glitches.
8. Check for Windows Updates:
- Ensure that your Windows 11 system is fully updated. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates.
