macOS 12.0 Monterey

When adding another Mac to our HP Office Jet Pro seres 9010 (purchased in 2020) in our home network, we tested the connection by sending a single page print job to printer via wifi.  When it didn't go through, we attempted to shut the printer down, essentially rebooting it, while also rebooting the Mac.  Alas, the printer will not shut down. instead we only see a blue screen with an image of power button above B302AC85 and flashing lights beneath the screen, to the left of the screen and at the power button itself.  Having read elsewhere (in queries with different error codes) that unplugging it doesn't make a difference, I am looking for guidance on how to get our printer back in service, post haste.  Sadly, I am seeing countless complaints just today, many that resemble ours and I fear the fix is not coming soon.  Please prove me wrong.

Hi @GringaL,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are getting an error message B302AC85 on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

We need to perform a Semi full reset to restore the printer back to its original settings.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
