Thanks for feedback.  No solution yet, I am not using this button.  I will be upgrading to high speed broadband in the next month or so.  I will test the printer on the new network to see if it's a network or firmware/printer issue and update this thread.

I am getting the same error with this firmware:

WEBPDLPP1N001.1709A.00

 

Steps to recreate: press ''get more'' on the apps button

 

HP8730 is the printer.

 

I noticed when the printer rebooted it was now showing not connected to HP connected where as it was prior to the reboot

 

 

after a few minutes it reconnects successfully to HP connected.

how is this thread marked as solved if there are no solutions?

 

Did I miss a fix somewhere?

Fix was to not use the button. We have upgraded to broadband. Now I notice I now receive a message to visit www.hpconnected.com to learn about and manage apps on this printer. Well at least no more crashes.
