Hello DanielHSMainz,
Please check the following:
- Make sure your printer is connected directly to the power outlet.
- You can try a power drain: turn the printer off, disconnect all cables (USB, ethernet, phone cord, power cord) then press Power button for about 60 seconds. After that and with the printer still unplugged from the rest of cables, plug power cord and turn it on. If it loads fine then you can try to make some copies and try to print some internal reports from the printer itself. If after that still works, then you connect it back and try to print.
- Make sure your printer has the latest Firmware version installed.
- Always use genuine, original HP ink cartridges and make sure they are not expired: each cartridge has a white tag with some expiration date. If they are expired, please replace them and try to replicate the issue with new ones.
- Try to isolate the blue screen happening at some moment like being on network, printing some specific file type, printing from some specific computer etc.
If you have tried the above and problem persists, and if your printer is under warranty, please call HP tech support for further investigation. If your printer is out of warranty, our recommendation is to take it to a certified repair center for inspection.

If you have an additional tray installed, remove the printer from that and try to power it on. If the error persists then support documents state that the main board and the ADF/Scanner are likely required to resolve the error.
