Recently when I print pages with color, I noticed that the blue ink was not printing at all. All of my printed materials are missing the blue color hues. It will start out printing the blue, for example on some labels, but by the second row of labels, the blue is cutting out more and more until there just isn't any printing at all. Now there isn't any blue printing AT ALL! In the pic of the labels I have attached, notice the part that looks light yellow....it's supposed to be a teal color. I have cleaned the printheads multiple times, I am at a loss...I have changed all cartridges to brand new ones, so I thought I just got a bad blue cartridge. I waited a week, my new cartridges came in the mail, so tonight I tried to replace the blue one hoping that maybe the one I had gotten was just defective. Nope, brand new one in tonight and still no blues printing. Any advice? I don't know how many more times I can clean the printhead! I did a print test page and there is no blue showing on it now, when there was blue showing on it last week. I am so baffled! Thank you for any help you can give. printer 3.jpgprinter 1.jpgprinter 1.jpg

So I tried to clean the ink carrier with hot water and paper towels...after I was done, I ran a printhead clean again a few times. I got the first pic you see here, I was getting excited that I was getting somewhere since it was starting to show some blue and a tad of green! LOL Then I cleaned the printhead again, and got the outcome of the second pic posted. Seriously, I am most confused. I don't even know what else to do.

@kelalex,

Welcome to HP Support Community,

I am afraid that the issue could be with the printer hardware. You can contact HP support to get printer service or possible upgrade options.

HP support can be reached on www.hp.com/contacthp

Select the product type.

Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

Select the country from the drop-down.

You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
