I have turned my printer on and off and continue to get the same results.  A blue screen with error coded D81AE404.  I see on other posts that the printer needs to be reset.  Can I please get directions to fix this?

Thank you.

Thanks for the response echo lake.  Unfortunately I can’t even attempt to your proposed solution due to my blue screen.  The printer goes through the loading process (progress bar) and after a very long time it shows the blue screen error.  It’s been so long this time (maybe 20 minutes) that I’m wondering if it will even go to the blue screen or not.  There are no home/back buttons on display and pressing the touch screen where they usually are does nothing.  I can’t change a cartridge since the printer won’t move when opening the lid.

Do you have any advice on next steps please?!

Thank you.
