Product: HP OfficeJet 9012e All-in-One Printer

Weird blur/smeared letters when printing black. Brand new hp cartridges. Also sometimes showing color banding. Have done all align and print cleaning options multiple times. Printer just outside of factory warranty. Had no problems till recently. Are these things just designed to die right after warranties expire?

 

any help greatly appreciated.

Can you check if the right paper quality is being used as per the settings ?

Run a deep clean and check if it makes a difference.
